While there are many photos and stories from my time in Southern India that I cannot share here, there are lots of great moments and people that I can’t HELP but share. Just looking at these people and places makes me smile, makes me wonder at the beauty of life, and makes me long for more adventure.

Over the first several days of the newest journey into the depths of India, I was pleased to be taken to northern India. Life is a bit different than in the south, but still with incredible faces, locations, and incredible stories of what God is doing. So far, I’ve gotten to visit an incredible city on the mountains, got a peek at the himalayas, help give sewing machines to village women who have completed their training, and visited an after school program at a school in a village in the middle of the forest with some of the most beautiful children imaginable. All of this was in just the first 3 days of being in this country 🙂 Much more ahead!

I’m pretty excited to share part 2 of the wedding I got to photograph outside Lander, Wyoming for Michael and Betsy. This is one of the coolest locations I’ve ever gotten to shoot wedding portraits. It’s like traveling back in time to the old west. Not to mention the light was incredible 🙂 I certainly can’t wait to get another wedding out west so I can do it again. Check out Part 1 on the blog for the wedding day.

Betsy and Mike did me the great honor of having me out to the wild west to enjoy their company and photograph their rehearsal, wedding, and an epic portrait session. The scenery, the people, and the love was all entirely overwhelming and beautiful. Before I went and photographed this wedding in Lander, Wyoming I had no idea what an amazing place awaited me. Below you will find a taste of the rehearsal, and the wedding day in all it’s glory. The portraits are of such an overwhelming nature that I’m afraid I must create a separate blog post just to contain all of it’s awesomeness. Be warned. You may feel an uncontrollable urge to go west. Just as an addendum, any further requests to have me travel west to photograph a wedding will be greeted with open arms.
And then the wedding…

I’m exceptionally proud of this session. After coming off of a break from couples for a few months of traveling, I was energized and ready to knock this one out of the park. I was already feeling good, but when I saw Kaitlyn and Daniel walking up to Cup of Commonwealth with his sweet blazer and snazzy shoes and her beautiful flowing dress, I just went into overdrive. Adding even more to that they opted for a little extra time so we could hit up some other great spots, such as Ashland Estates, Downtown Lexington Kentucky, and Talon Winery. Enjoy the images, leave the couple some love in the comments and, as always, thanks for stopping by!
