Along with AJ and Brittany from the previous post, Amandalin also got all gussied up so we could take some beautiful bridal portraits of her in the McGee house. Brittany and AJ: Wedding Style Shootout at the McGee House Part 1 {Harrodsburg, KY Wedding Photographer}
A couple weeks ago I got invited to a Styled Wedding Shootout as an intro to a new wedding venue in Harrodsburg ky. Several other Kentucky photographers and I had free range of the beautiful and historical location, filled with styled wedding flowers and decor donated by some awesome vendors (shared below). Most exciting for us, were the beautiful subjects we had to shoot. In this post, the already married AJ and Brittany made an amazing bride and groom, reliving their wedding day. The gorgeous Amandalin, as well as coordinating most of the details of the shoot, got all fixed up and put on a gorgeous wedding dress that looked amazing on her, and fantasized about her future wedding 🙂 She will be featured in my next post, so keep an eye out for that. Janie + Caleb Get Murried {Lexington Ky Wedding Photographer}
So Janie says, “The farm house where we are getting ready at has camels, zebras, and a variety of other exotic animals.” The photographer, as well as the child, in me immediately began to leap for joy 🙂 Even better than the crazy animals however was the amazing group of people that surrounded me all day. Caring, expressive, Christ-loving, and incredibly welcoming people were what really set this day apart. Every moment was just filled with love, inspiration, and joy. Natalie + James + Rings = WEDDED!! {Lexington, KY. Wedding Photographer}
Natalie, an old friend of mine, is one of those amazing people that has supported my photography from the beginning, and had always said she wanted me to shoot her wedding when it came time. Well, it came time last month! She was so excited, and I had a blast. She came up with and made most of the decorations herself, and it all looked amazing at the Headley Whitney Museum, and the reception at the Carrick House.
