It’s time to stop editing and start blogging again. Here is a beautiful october wedding from the beautiful barn at the Cardome Center in Georgetown KY. Sarah and Michael have been one of my favorite couples. The amount of trust they gave me was incredible and allowed me to do some amazing things for them. Big shout out for that! My only problem with Meghan and Thomas’ wedding is that it wasn’t longer. These are some of the most appreciative, sweet, and fun loving people imaginable… Plus they know how to boogey 🙂
They also had some great beverages from barrelhousedistillery.com, and was located at my favorite venue, The Ashley Inn (http://ashleyinnbandb.com).
A couple months ago, I had the great opportunity to shoot this wedding with Nick Key (nickkeyphotos.com) as his second photographer. Working as a second from time to time allows me to look at things a little differently and work on my craft. This was a wonderful wedding day, and it yielded some wonderful shots that I’ll share with you all. Check it out!
I love every opportunity to shoot in downtown areas, so when an old friend Brittany said she wanted me to shoot her wedding in the middle of downtown Indianapolis at the Omni Severin Hotel, I was ecstatic. It certainly helps that they are a very fun and relaxed couple as well. We had a blast shooting their engagement photos in Lexington, and I knew their wedding day in Indy would be a crazy celebration. Their style was impeccable, the location was gorgeous, and the dancing was off the chain 🙂 Check out their photos and give them some love in the comments at the end!
The entire day Brittany and Andy had cards delivered to each other with loving words to one another, and they wanted to be together when they read the final cards before the ceremony, but didn’t want to see each other yet 🙂
This amazing couple (below) won the prize of being married longer than anyone else in attendance… they also won the prize of being the best dancers! They were an incredible inspiration, and I pray Brittany and Andy end up just like them.
Every wedding I shoot has it’s own quirks and things I love about it, but my favorite ones are the weddings when you can see the joy in the eyes of the couple as well as all those surrounding them. From the moment I met Trent and Rikki, their eyes lit up at just the idea of their wedding day. Once it came to the day, the were joyful, as well as determined and focused on the amazing decision they were going to make, followed by tons of celebration! I don’t think anyone out danced Rikki that night 🙂 I can honestly say I felt incredibly welcome amongst all the great people and had an excellent time. As usual, I pray for nothing but the highest blessings of wisdom, strength, and joyfulness for this couple and their future family.
